1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions: "Conduit Yarra", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the business registered and operating under the name Conduit Yarra at 33 Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur. "Client", "you", and "your" refer to any person who engages our services or uses our website. "Services" refers to the electrical inspection, installation, and servicing work we offer.
2. Scope of Services
Conduit Yarra provides residential electrical services in the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area and surrounding Klang Valley locations. The specific scope of each service visit is agreed with the client prior to commencement of work. We do not undertake work outside the agreed scope without first obtaining your explicit agreement.
All work is carried out by technicians holding current Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) registration, within the permitted scope of their respective licence grade.
3. Bookings and Confirmations
A booking is considered confirmed once we have responded to your enquiry confirming the date, time, and scope. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you to confirm arrangements. In the event of unforeseen circumstances requiring rescheduling, we will notify you as early as practicable and arrange an alternative date at no additional charge.
4. Pricing and Payment
Service fees are as published on our website at the time of booking and are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). USD equivalents are provided as a guide only and are subject to exchange rate variation. Published prices are indicative; the final fee for accessory installation work is confirmed based on the actual quantity and specification agreed prior to the visit.
Payment is due on completion of the service visit unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer, e-wallet, or cash. Invoices are provided on request.
5. Access to Property
The client is responsible for ensuring that safe and adequate access to the property, relevant electrical installations, and distribution board is available at the agreed time. Where access cannot be provided and the visit cannot proceed, a call-out charge may apply to cover the technician's time and travel.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property and the work required when making an enquiry
- Ensure that any persons present during the visit are informed of the nature of the work being carried out
- Not request that the technician carry out work outside the agreed scope during the visit without prior discussion and agreement
- Inform us of any known hazards or relevant conditions at the property that may affect safe working
7. Our Responsibilities
We will:
- Carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with applicable Malaysian electrical standards
- Communicate clearly about scope, findings, and any recommendations arising from a visit
- Use appropriate protective materials during the visit and leave the work area tidy on completion
- Provide written summaries or reports where these form part of the booked service
8. Limitations of Liability
Our liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the fee paid for that service. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or special loss or damage arising from the provision of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or conditions in your property's electrical installation that were not within the scope of the booked service, or that were not discoverable through reasonable inspection.
9. Cancellations
We ask that you notify us of any cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover the technician's scheduled time. We will waive this fee where cancellation is due to circumstances outside your reasonable control.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and design elements, is the property of Conduit Yarra or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent.
11. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions by reference.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
