Built Around Careful, Structured Electrical Work
Conduit Yarra was formed to provide residential electrical services that are methodical, well-documented, and communicated clearly — without pressure or unnecessary complexity.
Back to HomeA Company Formed Around One Principle: Do the Work Properly
Conduit Yarra was established in Kuala Lumpur by a group of electrical technicians who had worked across residential and light commercial projects for several years. The recurring observation was straightforward: homeowners were often left with incomplete explanations, unclear records, and uncertainty about the state of their property's electrical installation after a service visit.
The company was set up to change that pattern. From the first visit, the priority is structure — a defined scope of work agreed in advance, a systematic approach to carrying it out, and a written record provided afterwards. No ambiguity about what was done or why, and no pressure to agree to work that was not discussed at the outset.
Based at Jalan Tun Razak in central Kuala Lumpur, the team serves residential properties across the Klang Valley. Work is conducted in line with Malaysian Standards and under the relevant registrations issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Malaysia's energy regulatory authority.
Over eight years of residential work in the area have shaped the way Conduit Yarra approaches each project — with respect for the property, patience with the occupant, and the kind of thoroughness that comes from experience rather than haste.
Structured Approach
Each service follows a defined sequence. Work is not approached informally — there is a clear method, and it is followed consistently regardless of property size or complexity.
Clear Documentation
Written summaries, updated circuit labels, and organized records are a standard part of how work is delivered — not an optional extra or a premium add-on.
Honest Communication
Where additional work would improve a property's installation, it is explained in plain terms — what it involves, why it matters, and what it costs. No pressure to decide on the day.

How We Work
The standards governing electrical work in Malaysia are taken seriously at Conduit Yarra — not as a minimum threshold but as the foundation on which everything else is built.
ST-Registered Workmanship
All technicians hold valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) wireman and competent person registrations — a legal requirement for residential electrical work in Malaysia.
MS IEC Standards Alignment
Work is conducted in accordance with Malaysian Standards that align with IEC wiring rules, covering installation practices, protection devices, and testing methodology.
CIDB Green Card Holders
All on-site personnel carry valid Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Green Cards, demonstrating compliance with Malaysia's construction worker safety and competency requirements.
Pre-Work Scope Agreement
Before any work begins, the scope is confirmed with the property owner. No work outside the agreed scope is carried out without a separate discussion and consent.
Post-Work Functional Testing
Every installation or service concludes with a systematic functional test. Work is not considered complete until each item has been verified to operate correctly.
Client Privacy Respected
Technicians operate with discretion inside your home. Personal information collected during service arrangements is held and used only in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Residential Electrical Knowledge Built Over Eight Years in Kuala Lumpur
Residential electrical installations in Malaysia present a specific set of conditions that differ from other markets. Older properties in Kuala Lumpur often carry legacy wiring that was installed to earlier standards, mixed with partial updates carried out during renovations over the years. Understanding how to assess these layered installations — knowing what is safe to leave, what warrants attention, and what requires immediate action — takes practical experience that cannot be shortcut.
Conduit Yarra technicians have worked in properties across Chow Kit, Ampang, Bangsar, Damansara, and Cheras, among other districts. This breadth of residential work across different property types, ages, and configurations produces a familiarity with the challenges that arise in practice — not just in textbooks.
